We recently received a box of books from Tiger Tales to review. Selena was so excited, she didn’t know what was in the box that UPS brought to us.
She truly was over joyed to see so many books in the box. She couldn’t wait to grab them out one by one to see her new reading material. We got two copies of a couple of the titles, so together we decided to do a give-a-way to one of our lucky readers.
The first book Selena chose to read for this giveaway was Naughty Toes by Ann Bonwill, illustrated by Teresa Murfin.
This story is about two sisters who discover that they are different in many ways. While one is a ballerina and the star of the show in dance class, the other dances to her own beat. This is a great book to show that while our children are different in their own ways, that is OK for them to find their own beat in life. It also is great to show that differences are not always a bad thing. I recommend this book for any young reader. It is a cute story, Selena sure enjoyed it and laughed at many of the different scenarios in the story.

I didn’t have a very difficult time when CSN stores contacted me about doing a review and giveaway deciding what I wanted to get to review. I had my eyes on this purse since the last time I shopped at their store.
I have to say I was not disappointed one bit when this purse arrived. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I don’t know about most of you with children, but I know for myself I need a purse that will hold just about anything that Selena decides she is going to take with her on our outings along with my own things. This purse was perfect for that.
My old purse was perfect too, but I truly was ready for a change.

From the pictures above you would think that I could carry about the same amount of things in my purse. Believe me there is no way I could get everything in my old purse that I will be able to get into this purse. The features I like about my new purse is the large zippered section, I can’t think of a single thing I wouldn’t be able to get into that section, plus it has two small pockets and another zipper pocket inside. My favorite feature though is that it has a large front pocket where I can keep the things I need to get to quickly such as my wallet, my keys, camera, and cell phone. Then the upper portion of the purse folds over to clasp shut so you don’t even know that front pocket is there.

I have been thinking that I would love to get some new table lamps. The lamps I have are older then I am. They are lamps that my Dad bought for my Mom at an auction years ago. I was so thrilled when my mom gave them to me. While I still love them they are really starting to show their age.
I was thrilled when CSN stores contacted me about doing another review and giveaway. My first thought was maybe I could replace my lamps with these. They have a great selection of lamps at some great prices.
Of course CSN stores has so many stores that I had to take a look at some of the other merchandise they have as well. You see I am not really sure I want to part with the lamps that I have had in my life, well all my life! Remember when I said that our electric fry pan burned out, the last time Selena helped me make French toast? Well, guess what they carry Electric Fry Pans!
Then you know Christmas (yes, I know it is only July, but I shop early) is coming up, and I could so easily buy Selena a cool set of play food, for when she plays imaginary kitchen, then I would at least know what I am eating instead of trying to guess or asking her. Maybe I wouldn’t end up with pickles and sugar stuffed in my mouth.
Oh and remember the handbag I have had my eyes on since the first time I did a review for CSN stores? Well, you know maybe it is time to just get something for me.

While going through our books the past couple of weeks because we did not get to the library, I discovered we have two copies of Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham. This book is brand new, with two copies, it has never even been opened to read. I have no idea how we ended up with two copies, but I want to share it with a lucky blog reader. Kid’s have enjoyed this witty, beginning reader for years. Any of you who know anything about Dr. Seuss, knows his books are quite surprising and take on an adventure of their own.
I thought how perfect with Christmas coming up, I would throw it up for a free give a way! So here we go!
