We’re Finally Moved In

I feel it has been an eternity since I last posted to my blog. I am happy to report though that we are all moved in, while I am still unpacking, the place is beginning to look and feel like a home. It’s been so fun to discover all the things that were packed away some 7 years ago when we first moved to Montesano, the little things we just didn’t have room for yet didn’t want to part with. Some boxes have been like Christmas, and each holding very fond and familiar memories.

The move itself was probably one of the most difficult moves considering that right after we got started Papa discovered that he had MRSA. He is very fortunate though as we caught it early enough that the area of the infection is very small compared to what it could be. He is healing nicely and is back to work, though dealing with a lot of side affects from the medications.

I have so much I want to share with you about all the fun we’ve managed to have and all the new discoveries we have made in our new home. Right now though I am going to leave you with a few teaser pictures and hope you will continue to come back to see and read the details of each picture.

Have I caught your curiosity yet? Well, you will just have to keep checking back for the stories behind each of these pictures.

I missed all of you and certainly did not plan on being away from the blog world for so long, that is a story all in its own, but for now it is just nice to be back!

On a side note I have decided to not host the Geography/History linky until September. With all that is going on in our world right now, we are just going to take the rest of the summer to learn our new world.
