Toys My Child Play With

My Bilingual Boys hosts a MckLinky about the toys our children actually play with. It has been a long time since I have participated. Well, here we go with the one toy that Selena has always played with and I hope will enjoy for many more years.

shapo Shape-O Ball

This is the very first toy I bought for Selena. When we first found out that we were going to have Selena joining our family I purchased the Shape-O Ball. She has had this toy near by her from her first time on the floor as a small infant.

Unlike a lot of toys that I have purchased for her, this one is the one that she never gets tired of. We have donated many of her baby toys and seem to always donate more every year, but this one is a definite keeper.

This morning while listening to her Bible Verses CD she was so engrossed in this toy that she didn’t even know I was taking pictures.

This toy is always out, and is by far the one that is most played with. She has received 3 years of enjoyment out of this toy, and it is pleasing to see that she still gets much enjoyment out of it.

If your kids have any special toy that they truly play with then hop on over to My Bilingual Boys and share with us.

  2. How neat that she always plays with this toy. We also gave away most of Anna's baby toys, but her favorite is a M&D wooden train that she still plays with from time to time. Great pictures too!

  3. This is one of Drew's favorite toys too. Actually we bought it for our oldest and all have loved it. We def. got our $ out if it since it has been around for 17yrs. And I am proud to say there are no lost pieces. Yet I guess. :)

  4. oo yes the "old" classics always seem to be the best toys! Sammy doesn't have one like that at our house but the grandparents both have one. He plays with it all the time! I have purposefully not gotten one for here so that he continues to love and enjoy it when visiting the grandparents :)
