Taking School Outside

This afternoon we just had to get out and enjoy our beautiful weather. I actually got Selena outside without thinking she had to have her bike. Selena discovered that the moon was out, and insisted on using my camera to get a picture of it.

I laughed so hard, as she stood near the sidewalk to take these pictures, a couple and their child walked in front of her. Selena stopped and in the most serious voice said, “I am sorry, but I am trying to get a picture of the moon.” The mother turned around and said, “Oh your ok, go on ahead and get a picture of the moon.” Selena put her hand on her hip and informed her, “Don’t walk like that I am trying to get a picture of the moon.” The mom didn’t know that Selena was trying to tell her don’t walk in front of me when I am trying to take a picture of the moon. I could hardly hold in the laughter.

Then we had some fun!

100_2278 100_2279 Chasing the ball, flower still in hand. She calls these Dandiflowers.

100_2280 Throwing the ball, and yes her Dandiflower is still in hand.

100_2282 Leap Frog Anyone?

100_2283 100_2287 100_2285 More of Selena’s photography skills.

100_2281 Finally my first flowers! I am so looking forward to getting more flowers this summer. These are my shrubs that I planted two years ago, boy they have grown since then.

  4. What wonderful weather! We pick lots of dandeflowers here too. And then they go in my hair.........
I love kid taken pictures, they're so much fun. That's probably why I let the kids have my camera so often.
