Even though we do not go trick-or-treating, we still had fun.
Selena dressed up as a ballerina. She was so excited to get her costume on, especially since Mama was letting her wear one of her necklaces.
We played bean bag drop. Oops she kind of missed, but she made more in then she missed.
We decorated pumpkins, first with stickers, but Selena had a lot of fun so much that she had to:
Yes, we even made a small jack-0-lantern!
Then we enjoyed family time watching Marmaduke. This is a cute story about a dog who moves to California from Kansas. He doesn’t fit in with the rest of the dogs. Yet, he manages to make his way. Selena laughed through the whole movie. At the end she got upset when Marmaduke and one of the other dogs got into some trouble, but cheered when all turned our just fine. We sure enjoyed the movie and it made for a great family night.
I love that you still enjoyed Halloween with 'doing' Halloween.
ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate it either, but every year it is growing here in Australia.
We had a movie night, too. We watched The Game Plan. It's an older one, but we hadn't seen it yet. It's really sweet - with no real bad language - and they don't misuse God's name - which is a rare find.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear Marmaduke was good, the ads made it look like there was potty humor, but Princess would love it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great Halloween.
It looks like you had fun. I love Selena's outfit. It's been a busy weekend for us with a lot of Halloween activities, but Anna had a huge blast - so unlike last year :)
