I Feel…

I feel we never really came back from our Christmas break. What do I mean…Well I know there are many blogs out there that I follow that I have not commented on for a while now. I just want all of you to know that I have been reading your blogs, and with all good intentions tried to set aside time to come back and comment. Yea, like that really happened.

I have had so much on my mind here of late. Finding a new church, helping Michael get ready for his new job position, which will mean a whole new schedule around our home, the growth in Selena, and the changes that this has brought to our family.

Things are starting to come to a place where I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We are still getting use to the new Church and yes we like it, but there was still some old junk we needed to deal with from the old church, that didn’t go as smoothly as one would like, but it went.

Michael starts his new position on Tuesday next week. Hooray! It will be so nice to have him closer to home, we will see more of him, and just think of the money we will save. Do you realize he has been driving 80 miles a day for work for almost 5 years now!

Outside of a little cold, Selena is finally settling into the new world that surrounds her with this latest growth spurt. We have to do art box this afternoon, she was asking for it again this morning. I have some other things planned for this afternoon as well, if she is feeling up to it.

I can honestly say I am finally at peace with where things are, with leaving the old church, the loss of a few friendships through that time, (not that I wanted to lose their friendship) and am happily looking forward to moving on.

If you have wondered why I haven’t left comments, or fulfilled promises I made, now you know, I’ve been here just not at my 100%. I am back though and will get caught up!

  1. (Hugs) - I hope that Selena feels better, and you will find peace with the loss of some of your friendships.

  2. I don't think you have catching up to do! Just jump back in where you are. I am so glad that you are being blessed with your new church and Michael's new job.

  3. First of all, as I see it, there's no need to apologize. With regard to blogging I believe (and I'm sure you'll agree) the people in your life come first. I think everyone understands and respects your need to pull back a little.

Secondly, I'm very sorry to hear things were a bit bumpy when you left your last church. Wonderful news about Michael's new job, though!

    *hugs*

  5. Life Happens, to all of us.

I hope the new church and job, prove to be everything you wish them to be. Sometimes we just have to take a breath, and start again.

  7. Glad things are settling down. Life definitely is full of different seasons. As for blogging, it has to change as the seasons of your life do. After all, it's just a blog, your family should always come first.

  8. Huge hugs!! I totally understand and was just today telling my husband (who totally did NOT get it) that I feel terrible for not commenting on the blogs I used to comment on with each new post. I DO read them and I LOVE reading them, but for me, whenever I feel torn or distracted, I just can't dedicate 100% of myself to much.

Anyway, I'm thinking about you and YAY for the new job!
