Hoping You All Had A Good Christmas

100_1892Now what would Christmas be without getting up to discover the cookies and milk you had hoped to eat come morning was nothing but a plate of crumbs!

We are hoping that all of you had a very Merry Christmas! There was a lot of excitement around here. We skipped the Christmas Eve Service last night as Selena was so excited that she was just beside herself all evening. Oh well, maybe next year!

Selena had absolutely no idea while she laid sleeping tucked all in her bed, that Mr. Clause came a calling and brought this nice little bike and all these presents for her. I often wondered what was going on in her little head as she would look at the decorated tree and not a gift was under it. Maybe someday she will be able to tell me.

100_1891 Now if this isn’t just a look of total disbelief! She stood there and stared for about 15 minutes before she even reached out and touched her brand new bike.

We had a hard time getting the rest of the presents opened as Selena was way too busy doing this:

We had so much fun and such a fabulous Christmas! We hope that all of you did too!

That is too cute about her waiting so long to touch her bike. And, it's an awesome bike too!

  2. Merry Christmas to you! I hope Selena enjoys her bike. Anna is just now settling down to actually play with something for more than 5 minutes - she was beyond herself both yesterday AND today.

  4. Awww, I love the looks of shock as she sees her bike.
And I love the new look of your blog, and the quote at the top. That's how I'm trying to raise my little girl too. Have you ever read her the Gigi books by Sandra Walsh?
