New Crafty Fun

100_5900

I am always keeping my eyes peeled for inexpensive crafting supplies. A while back I noticed a friend of mine who has her own Etsy shop had these chipboard shapes in her shop. She had 5 bags of them for $2.00 each. I couldn’t resist anymore, so I purchased them. I can truly imagine so many opportunities with all these pieces.

She enclosed a few extra pieces, among which was some chipboard shaped houses. What perfect timing with Christmas right around the corner, I knew Selena and I would be making our own Gingerbread houses for the Christmas tree.

Using the two houses pictured above, glitter glue and buttons we went to work. Selena picked the smaller house to work on since it had more space for gluing. We went right to work, and had so much fun, laughing and giggling while we created our little ornaments.

I think you can guess Selena’s house! Once they are dried I will find some ribbon and we will find the right places to add them to our tree.

OK, let me tell you a little bit about this Etsy shop where I found these. Yourwishcake’s little shop is the cutest shop. Should you be looking for notecards, earrings, necklaces, wallets, and now new to her shop is baby headbands, then this is a place you definitely want to check out. Each item is made, packaged, and shipped with love. She is on break right now through the rest of the year, to spend a wonderful Christmas with her husband and first baby girl. She has the most adorable family, and I am honored to have watched her grow up, become a fine young lady who has embraced life, not been afraid to take chances, marry, and now become a mom. Oh, and should I add she was homeschooled!
