Geography/History Vacation Time

geographyhistory

Last week I said I had a plan for our Washington State Travel Guide. I have been hard at work preparing everything for my idea. After I got so much of it done, I realized by showing it all to you now would truly spoil the final project.

While I am not going to share what I have been doing and what my actual plans are I will say Selena is going to have so much fun finishing this project up when we get home. She will or should have a very wonderful self, created scrapbook of her first remembered vacation. She will also know about most of the different regions of the State and be able to say she has seen some very special landmarks from the different areas. There will be some areas we will not see, but she should get a good feel for what Washington truly looks like from one side of the State to the other.

She hasn’t been that excited about going, and has told us over and over again that she is not going to Spokane, she just wants to stay home. Last night however, as I pulled out the suit cases to begin some of the packing, she grabbed the smallest suit case and announced it to be hers. She started packing her own clothes, I think everything she could get her hands on went in it. Now she can hardly wait to hit the road. She is continuously reminding me that we are going to Spokane to see Uncle Jim, Uncle TJ, and Uncle Ken. She has made sure that I know we are not going to Montana to see the family with the Volcano in their back yard and a little girl with the balloon stuck to her hand, (Leah I think you know that is you!) We have assured her that it isn’t a volcano and that the little girl did let go of the balloon!

Make sure and stop by during our week away, I have some great guest posts, I feel will be very interesting. Don’t forget my CSN stores giveaway, get signed up here as I will pick the winner when I get home.

  4. It's too bad we scared Selena off - you're really not too far from us in Spokane - just another 4 hours, or so. But, maybe you better not tell her, she's so close to the "volcano" :)
