Her all time favorite gift this year was her Naubi, for those not quite familiar with what this is, basically it is a child's tablet that comes loaded with fun games, and an area for learning. Just like a tablet I am able to go online and download free and inexpensive games to books for her. She hasn't put it down yet, but little does she realize, Grandma will be setting all the timer settings so that she isn't on it all the time.
We spent a lot more of our Christmas money on things that we would enjoy as a family, WIFI for the house, a new Blue Ray DVD player all in preparation of going totally wireless even with our TV. Selena got some very nice gifts from family and friends.
- A Barbie doll from our Landlord
- A Melissa and Doug Rubber Stamp set and Disney Princess Coloring Books from her brother.
- A Ceramic Color Me Kit from her Uncle T.J. and Aunt Marie
- A Lalaloopsy Doll
- Crayon Tower
- A Barbie All Dolled Up Head with Make-up and Hair Accessories.
For some reason I got spoiled myself this Christmas with a new Tablet and an iPhone. Papa didn't go with out a little spoiling himself, the Blue Ray was actually his present along with a Meat and Cheese set. Our Landlord also gave him a really nice heavy duty flash light.
We will spend the day munching on our left over seafood, cheese and crackers, and too many goodies to list. A very fine Christmas in our home! Wishing the same in yours!
It sounds awesome. We were considering to give Anna her own laptop and decided against it. It's going to be our family laptop. She was happy with her gifts - our friends and family were pretty generous as well :)
ReplyDeletePS - Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! Sounds like your family had a great holiday! Robbie has a Nabi2 and loves it. I love that I can use it as a regular Android tablet in Mommy Mode. ;)
